112年度 代謝體學核心實驗室每月定期報告
 

代謝體學核心實驗室於2023/2/17（五）舉行定期報告，特邀請Melvin Gay擔任本次主題講師。

Melvin obtained his Ph.D in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Murdoch University in 2010 developing an assay for the detection and quantification of urinary hepcidin, which is an iron regulatory peptide synthesized in the liver, in hemochromatosis patients. Following that, he joined Waters, Singapore in 2010 as a R&D Application Specialist focusing on developing new methods for food safety and material sciences, and also providing technical supports to labs in the APAC region. 
In 2014, Melvin joined University of Western Australia as a Research Fellow, driving and coordinating metabolomics projects in relation to human lactation, breast physiology and infant health. 
Melvin joined Bruker in 2019 as an Applications Scientist supporting the Metabolomics and Lipidomics areas in Australia and New Zealand. He is also supporting the Australian National Phenome Centre (ANPC) led by Prof Jeremy Nicholson in Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia.
